The AT Program requires the completion of a minimum of 85 hours of academic and clinical coursework in the athletic training major. The course work involves a six-semester sequence beginning with the fall semester of admission into the professional program. This sequence is developed as a progression designed to incorporate all content outlined in the Athletic Training Education Competencies, culminating in ATR 458, Seminar in Athletic Training, which is taken during the final semester of professional program enrollment.
